    Hi folks,

A relation will be putting a refurbed property up for rent in the coming weeks in the Glasnevin area. What would you guys consider to be absolute necessities in terms of providing them prior to tenants moving in? I'm guessing cooker/hob, washing machine, D/W, fridge; basically kitchen appliances. Anything else ?

Just rented out my house, we left fridge, microwave, oven, hob, washing maching, kettle and toaster, plates cups and cuttlery, dining table, sofa, nest of tables, blinds and curtains, light shades, and a double bed. We had left a single bed too in the small room but the lady renting ask us to remove it as she had a bed for her child she was bringing with her. You also have to leave CO alarms and fire blanket in the kitchen.

Battery powered smoke alarms in the hallway, front room,
    maybe 1 or 2 upstairs .
Maybe one in the the kitchen ,away from the cooker .
Chest of drawers in each bedroom.
if you are on a budget ,you can get non flat screen tvs, free on adverts.ie .

Don't provide a TV as you will need to maintain it and also provide a TV licences to go along with it.

    Absolutely not a legal requirement.
