I hear they are closing down.

What a shame. I remember them as being nice helpful people in there. It was my second favuorite camera shop in Dublin.

They were super for printing, really lovely to deal with. Bought tripod there too not long ago. A shame :(

That is a shame. I bought my first camera, a Pentax MZ-50 from them back in 2000.

Will there be a clearance sale?

very friendly shop , always dropped in to Billy for a chat , down through the years , and a few purchases, some great second hand old cameras too , very helpful old school shop - like the old record shops of old

It will be a sad day for photography if the Camera Exchange goes for good. It is a fantastic old style camera shop as mentioned before, very helpful friendly staff. I've been shopping there for quite a few years now and they were always on hand to help and point you in the right direction.
Hopefully things work out for Billy and the staff and maybe they will just downscale and stay in business.
