I am looking to book helicopter lessons for my husband or ar least book a one hour session. When I Google there are a number of suppliers working out of Weston airport, can anyone give me a recommendation?

there is only one licensed helicopter training organization in Ireland - http://www.skywest.ie/ (based in Cork and Weston)

the number of options you are seeing are there because a lot of them are voucher selling sites that would still end up using skywest services

do you mind coming back to us if you get a quote for what the actual lessons cost (post intro flight)?

I was quoted €199 for one hour lesson to include 30 min brief and debrief so only 30 mins in the air.

I'd recommend giving Newcastle Airfield a ring for the first flight in a helicopter, then if he enjoys it and wants the license or lessons go to Weston.
