I think it's the week starting the 12th of October (counting back 26 weeks from the first week in April) but I haven't confirmed that with the department.

There was speculation going around that it might be increased and also that Miss Burton was not in favour of increasing the State Pension but would prefer giving the fiver to the Household Benefits Package.

    Anyway ''Don't stop Believin'':D

Governments have always been afraid of the grey hair brigade (getting the roots and colour done grey next week lol). It does feel like that there maybe an increase in the Christmas Bonus.

There is a confirmed increase in the Christmas Bonus. It was in the news a week or two ago I believe.

I have also heard the rumours about the increase in fuel allowance. We shall see but I shant hold my breath. With the increase in smokeless fuel areas and the cost of same an increase would be good (especially since they did away with the increase that was there for smokeless fuel).
