Online application form for water conservation grant will not accept my IBAN and BIC. I copied and pasted the page onto a blank sheet for a reference when calling Irish Water. Astonished to find that when I did that some hidden boxes emerged, including one to say that I was in the United Kingdom. The Water Conservation Grant form has NO box for applicant to select country. Looks like the website form designers used a second hand online application form or template and failed to make it fit for purpose

The water conservation grant is administered by the DSP, not Irish Water. So you should contact the DSP concerning this.

Thanks. I'm going to call the number that is given for the Water Conservation Grant Support Team  (1890 100 043), which is, of course, administered by the DSP.

You are correct, the Water conservation grant is paid and administered by the Department of Social Protection. If you contact the Water Grant Support Team on 1890 100 043, a member of the team should be able to assist you further.

You can find more information on the grant here.

If you have any other Irish Water related queries, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.

    Kind regards,
    Mairead
