I get metro but I am close enough to the mast. You need line of sight to the mast in the substation in ballybane, not the eircom mast, or the one in oranmore if living out that side.

chech to ensure your signal is constant, when i had wireless i was supposed to have 3g download, i had but not a steady n3g's, i would be up to 3, then down to 0.50, download and run SpeedOf.Me, this will reveal all

OP - have you checked out this Map?

Drop the marker on your house and tick the Wireless ISPs option. This will show you what FWA providers are in your area. Give em a call and see if they can actually see your house from their mast.

it could be wrong alright. I can get Lightnet and Airwire but that map only shows airwire for me.

The only other map that I know of is Comreg's MNO Siteviewer map but that only identifies the mobile masts - http://www.askcomreg.ie/mobile/siteviewer.273.LE.asp
