House purchase - what papers should I expect from solicitor?

Hello Folks, I have recently purchased a property but I don't have any papers in my hands showing the property is mine.

I have contacted the solicitor and he told me that (after 4 months from the closure date) the land registry didn't register my house yet and they will come back to me when papers are ready.

So what kind of papers should I expect? I have properties abroad and I got the contract and other papers immediately, but here seems that is normal having nothing. Am I wrong? I don't want to argue, just understand.

For example, I had to ask for a copy of the BER certificate. Why it has not been automatically provided?

    Thanks for your help!
