TIN not working

    I got my application for water grant but the TIN did not work, I applied for another and that did not work, after 3 phone calls to help line I was asked for my PPS which I gave and I have had no further information, when the person on the line tried to enter the details it came up as having made the application but then after repeating the process he discovered that I could not go past the TIN.
    What is the next step? It takes a long time waiting on help line for replies and I have now phoned 3 times but I am no further ahead

    Thanks for contacting us.

    Unfortunately, a TIN (Transaction Identifier Number) is a unique reference number distributed by the Department of Social Protection for customers who are eligible to apply for the Water Conservation Grant.

    Irish Water does not have access to this information or creating TIN references, so we would advise contacting the Water Grant Support Team at 0761 087 890 or 1890 100 043 or find more information here.
