    Hi,
I was wondering if you could advise. I bought a couple of items from JCrew in the USA. They were shipped to Ireland via DHL and arrived at my workplace today. I expected a bill for VAT duty on them and had left money in my workplace for the same.

However the lady who signed for them did not get asked for this duty/VAT money. I just wondering how long DHL send out the bill later? I have looked at their site but am unsure. JCrew seem to use a shipping company called Borderfree in case that would have any impact.

The value of the goods in question who have been above the limits. I have tried logging in with my tracking number but keep getting an error.

Jcrew sell at a delivered price inclusive of vat and duty

Basically they work it out and make the relevant payment themselves.

Larger companies in USA do this.
