My main request for last night was they give us some clean finishes to ends feuds. Every single finish was clean to a good extent, and every feud can be moved on from quickly, so I was very pleased with how the show turned out.

Furthermore, the ending was good in terms of leaving me intrigued; it wasn't just a beatdown, but a kidnapping, which can go numerous ways (though hopefully its not just played off like "just a beatdown"). So yeah, am very happy and looking forward to some fresh stories tonight.

Spot on with the last paragraph. It actually made me look forward to Raw for once, I'm dying to see which direction they take it in.

Needless to say though, I will not be getting my hopes up.

I'm guessing Wyatt steals the Undertaker's "powers", letting him return to the american badass character at wrestlemania and allowing him to have a speech at the hall of fame

It was a good PPV with a great main event. Didn't like Del Rio returning and beating Cena clean so easily. Firstly I find him incredibly dull and secondly it makes the likes of Owens and especially Rollins look like crap when they have been defeated by Cena so many times and in Rollins case never got a clean win yet Del Rio beats him in 7 minutes with a transitional move like a kick to the face? Rollins does that exact move all the time to Cena and has done half a dozen other far more impressive moves and Cena always kicks out of them so it was very odd booking. Was Cena just not arsed doing a proper back and forth match? Usually there isn't a finisher Cena doesn't want to kick out of.

Rollins and Kane match wasn't great as expected but it was good to see Rollins get so much offence in and obviously get a clean win for once. That powerbomb table botch was a shame. Don't know how it didn't break given how heavy Kane is.

Lesnar and Taker really delivered. Easily the best match they have had together apart from their first Cell match at No Mercy in 2002. Loved the ending with the Wyatts taking away Taker. Presumably at Survivor Series we will see Taker, Kane, Amrose and Orton vs The Wyatt Family co-main event with Rollins vs Reigns for the WWE Title.

    Daniel Bryan says hello.

Isn't Del Rio's other finisher the armbar? No way Cena is tapping out so they had to have something to replace it.

No point using that on John boy anymore, i seem to remember the last time he applied it on him, Cena just lifted him off the mat and got out of it.

Just on that second paragraph, they've kidnapped people twice by my recollection. First was Kane, the angle was dropped & his eventual return ignored it completely (this really hurt Wyatt imo). Second was Daniel Bryan which gave us a great moment in the cage but again it probably hurt Wyatt as it all happened so quickly.

I can't see them successfully having Undertaker join the Wyatts but I'd love if we got some vignettes of Taker being held captive with Bray either tormenting him or trying to brainwash him. It'd give us an insight into how the Wyatt Family comes to be & would go some way to making Bray seem like the biggest threat in the company.

Just saw the main event. What a match and JBL is right the Undertaker is the greatest of all time

Don't know if it was Raw or Smackdown but Jerry used the same "I don't think even Ripley would believe it" when he saw Del Rio with Zeb. Though imagine Jerry recycling material? Shocker

On the subject of.....Zeb talked about "uniting all the races". I wonder if we will see the start of a stable now, with Zeb and Del Rio. Given there is talks of
    Carlito
coming back, he would fit in with the group.

thought it was a really good event with a great main event

the del rio return was great but the match just seemed off not sure what was wrong it just seemed off.

the new day are just amazing i would watch a raw with just them on it, who would have thought kofi was hiding all that promo work all this time

divas match was a lot better then i thought it would be, one thing that annoyed me was it was clear paige was trying to blank becky and celebrate with charlotte and the commentators didnt mention it once.

bray and roman was a good match but just didnt need to be in the cell at all would have much rather ed just have the one cell match.

brock and taker was just a war and i loved it and the end with the wyatts was good too with plenty of possibilities to what could happen

Him, Del Rio, Los Matadores and Melina (I hear she's back in wrestling again and would fit the Latino criteria) would make a good stable IMO. Gives the bullfighters something to do since they're fairly good wrestlers, and have links to
    Carlito
    .

One more thing...was I the only one who thought Kane vs Rollins was going to be inside a Cell?

The way he sold the loss had me thinking maybe he would announce his retirement at Survivor Series, what with it being 25 years later and all.
Instead, it looked like it was a set-up for a Survivor Series match.
I'd say the team will be Taker, Reigns, Ambrose, and then the final member to be Kane in a Brothers of Destruction reunion.
Overall, a very good show I thought.

Replace reigns with Orton and that is a very real possibility. I take it Demon Kane is still around and that result last night only took corporate Kane out of WWE?

That is a good idea but I prefer his deadman promo work to be honest. I wonder what style The Undertaker would prefer for his HoF speech? When is first name usually announced?

I knew it was not going to be in the cell but would have preferred this match to be in the cell more than Reigns/Wyatt

Remember how people were like "at least in Cena's absense they'll be forced to focus on some new people at the top.

Looks like they've gone with The Undertaker and Alberto Del Rio?

Team taker -taker, Kane, sting and Finn balor

Don't think sting will be fit enough for ss (can t believe it's almost a year since his debut )

It could be taker, Kane and the dudleyz

Everything up until the main eventhing was very meh. Matches were hampered by poor build up, confusing match ups and, in the case of Reigns vs Wyatt, a gimmick they couldn't live up to. Everybody worked hard but they couldn't overcome these handicaps.

I was most disappointed with the Divas match, a bit of a mess and that finish was so stupid, Nikki hits what JBL calls "the most devastating move ever seen in a Divas match" and 30 seconds later Charlotte is winning with the figure 8, psychology and selling be dammed!

Wasn't big on Owen vs Ryback either, a nothing match, the warm down match before the big main event, it really was just a series of moves with nothing holding them together playing in front of a crowd that didn't care.

Main event though was excellent, both guys worked crazy hard and in terms of storytelling and emotion this hit the spot. Personally I don't mind the Wyattsame being the designated fall guys next month, they are such a bland group.
