Hi looking for advice. Working in retail as a sales assistant for the last four years. Currently work full time and have been opening up my options so looking for a job as a trainee manager. The job I'm in now does have team leader jobs but no one has left so there have been no positions. Why do all the trainee manager well most of the jobs always ask for management experience for a trainee manager job? How can I get the job with no management experience?

I am currently doing a course in business management it's only part time for two hours every Monday night. Will this increase my chances of securing a trainee manager job? Anyone know anyone who has a job as trainee manager?

    I'm 21 btw. Thanks

Would assistant manager or senior sales assistant not be the next logical step?
