Harvey Norman is advertising their "secret location sale". Just in case you want to know where; it's in the National Show Centre, Swords. If you're wondering how I know; on their first post announcing this sale on Facebook the link actually had the location included #fail!
Post removed and fixed, but have a screenshot somewhere...
Anyway say whatever you want about their sales, it's just in case someone's planning of going by....

I need to get a dishwasher, but I doubt this sale would be worth a 2 hour drive for their "BIGGEST EVER SALE" when their last "BIGGEST EVER SALE" was only about 2 weeks ago.

They always seem to be having a 'best ever sale'! Pity about their customer service...have been stung too many times by Harvey norman to bother with them anymore.

heard stories of their service alright. normally dont bother with them anyway. if you have to result to insulting potential customers intelligence in order to get them in the door, why would you give them your money! how do they compare to other retailers in regards pricing?

    I was absolutely robbed.
I bought a dishwasher and a sofa in Harvey Normans.

Apparently, it was during their normal price week.

Edit: I have found out that these items are all brand new, but older models. The sales will not be replicated in the store and will not be online.

    Doors only opened at 12

I'm currently in Swords, so will be heading down in a while - no expectation but as close by and nothing else to do at lunch, why not.

    Will let you know.

Typical Harvey Norman sale - large starting prices but only really small discounts.

In terms of Vacuum cleaners - couple of Dysons - Cordless at €299 and Cylinder at €239 (these seemed like a good price but didn't get models) - forgot my phone for photos etc - sorry! Dyson fan was €279 (from memory) decent price.

Small selection of TV's (but plenty of stock).

Philips Airfryer at €129 and Tefal's at €139.

Lots of large white goods but nothing really stood out either in that section or across the store overall - lets be honest if they really had good bargains they would be advertising them, not even any 1st x customer type deals.

Basically - plenty of stock with a few Euro off it's real selling price so if after something specific worth a look but I wouldn't be travelling across dublin and through tolls for it!

Stuff was flying out though, car park packed and shoppers leaving arms full so its gonna be a good weekend for Harvey!

    Thanks TheBigLad

I hate shopping so if its busy, I will probably just avoid it.. deal or no deal

    "Biggest ever sale"

    €10 off.

Went for a quick look - meh.

Inaccurate "was" pricing from what I could see and lots of tack.

If you were furnishing a house from scratch I suppose you could pick up a thing or two but the stock is quite limited and the options are limited too. I actually wanted the Dyson Air Fan thing but they only have it in black.....and I want the white :(

    Took a couple of pics

If you are looking for AV equipment/soundbars/tvs etc though look at the Richersounds forum here on boards - incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff, far superior product range and better pricing.
