    Hi all,

so....have about 6 months machine experience in a coffee shop so far....all informal training though, but have been learning as much as possible online for quite some time now....all my boss seems to care about is banging the coffees out as fast as possible and it's up to me to keep up some sort of standard, he knows as much about good espresso as I do about stamp collecting.

Went to the coffee & tea fest recently and met some really cool and passionate people who gave great advice about taking the next step and getting proper training from someone who knows what they're on about.

I want to do this properly, no half-measures! I'm genuinely interested in getting balls deep into the coffee biz and am willing to throw a few quid at getting trained up...

I've heard good things about Alan Andrews @ Coffee Culture (he's just opened a new centre in Birdhill, just up the road from me in Limerick!)

Any pro baristas here who can share their experiences?
