Upgrading cabinet - how long till "live" typically?

Hi folks
My estate is not fibre enabled and the cabinet I am connected to is at the entrance to my estate - maybe 3-400 metres from my door.

This morning I noticed a lot of activity at the cabinet - several workmen, couple of vans ("KN" logo on them?). I'm assuming / hoping that they are finally upgrading the cabinet!

I just tried to get some info off an Eircom (Eir??!) agent and of course not very helpful, couldn't tell me anything I didn't know already from looking at the rollout map (the cabinet is still marked as "planned" on their map).

I realise this could be "how long is a piece of string" but I'm wondering if there's a typical lead time between start of upgrading cabinet to it being live and ready for fibre connections?

It took six months for my cabinet to go from 'work completed' (according to the guys working on it ) to getting connected. I was the first connection on the cabinet. The cabinet was about a month to go from hole dug and box placed but not wired before that.
