I am etting rid of my wood pellet boiler and will install a new oil boiler and tank. I will have the boiler in a shed.
What is the best brand/model to get?

Well.....just to be a bit different, I find nothing wrong with a well set-up and maintained Firebird either.

1984baby - you may like to read through a couple of (short) threads about replacing wood pellet boilers by kerosene fired units.

Our conversion is still going very well. We kept the wood pellet boiler case and installed an oil burner in place of the pellet burner.

You can have the best boiler in the world, but a bad installation can reduce it to nothing more than a very expensive kettle.
