    lived close to that area for six years around the top of Dorset Street. Spent a lot of time cycling and walking around Summerhill and Ballybough getting to other places during that time.

    Moved out of the area two years ago and could not be happier to be gone. The amount of horrible shite I witnessed there during that 6 year period is mad. Generally it just looks terrible. Litter everywhere. dilapidated buildings. Junkies and tracksuit teenagers hanging about.

    It's definitely not as bad as it used to be, but it used to be a warzone, so you don't really have to lift the bar particularly high to say it's improved.

    If you've no other option to live anywhere else best of luck, you'll probably be fine and can make it work. Just keep some street smarts about you at night.

    Thanks for the reply. I need to take care, I have got it. The housing crisis has reached unprecedented levels. There was no choice. Thanks again. Will share my experience if I survive this. LOL
