F2000 Modem - logs me out of control panel constantly.

So I just received a new F2000 Modem today, to upgrade our old F1000.

I'm accessing its control panel through Wi-fi.
I log in correctly, with the correct password, etc...  but after just a couple of seconds, it logs me back out.
This happens on my PC here that I'm using, and on my phone.

I've only had success staying logged in when using a laptop.

The laptop would be considerably closer to the router, as it's downstairs, while my PC and phone that I'm using, are quite a bit further in range.
I'm not quite sure why range would be an issue anyway and I doubt it is.

But I'm just curious if anyone has every experienced this or what might be causing it?

I do know that the laptop I mentioned was the first ever device to log in to it, wirelessly also.
No devices are physically connected to this router, currently or ever.

At this particular time of trying to log in, nobody else is actively using the connection.
