Flying Lufthansa to Munich, then connecting onwards. I've 1hr 20 mins connection time, is this sufficient? I've never been through Munich airport before. Should I mention it to air crew etc...?

80 mins should be OK. 2 hours would be better of course. 80 mins leaves you vulnerable if the flight is 20-30 mins delayed.
MUC is a big airport but apparently is good for connections...haven't done it myself however.
Talking to the crew on the flight won't help you unless it is to be seated close to the front.

Cheers. Never missed a plane in my life so here's hoping that continues.

The minimum connection time at Munich is 30 mins. Frankfurt is 45 mins.

Munich is perhaps the best connecting airport I've used. I've connected there with far less than you have and still had tonnes of time.

I only flew to Munich once(March this year), we were bussed from the plane to the terminal, took about 25-30 minutes. It did seem to be a huge airport, hope you make it.

Ah, did'nt notice that the OP was flying Lufthansa.

It would only be lufthansa that would be offering the super short connections. They won't be using busses.

Yep, that's important. I've only ever connected with Lufthansa, others could be different.
