As a UPC customer I'm stuck with TV3 - shocking.

Conor McNamara is a decent soccer commentator/reporter, but his commentary on England-Wales last night was terrible. He doesn't understand rugby, has a feeble grasp of the laws of the game, and didn't realize that Wales were level following the conversion of that glorious try until the scoreboard changed to 25-25. Embarrassing.

Were he and Toland actually at Twickenham or watching in Dublin?

The many, extended ad breaks also ruin the coverage.

Just a point. You can't sky+ itv hd. No live pause or record.

I'm using an ap called itv (not the actual itv app) and watching it via a chomecast.

I'm watching the rugby on ITV HD and must say very impressed with Jonny Wilkinson as an analyst. Very knowledgeable and has the ability to impart that knowledge to the viewer. Unlike some.

Yep JW is good, you can see he really thinks through the points he wants to make, he also caught Inverdale telling porkies last night too.

I like Scott Hastings too, he covers the 7s so appreciates the skill side of the game more than the brawn, I think I heard Jonny Hammond too but I could be wrong, he covers the English Championship and is far superior to Miles Harrison.

Have to say I think ITV are doing a much better job this time round. Was woeful in 2011 but decent now. Only the adverts are very annoying.

All of us who have Freesat are so grateful to see it on ITV HD for their rugby coverage.

I am watching all of their matches and analysis from ITV HD and there are no major problems to report so far.

Yes, Freesat is the business for this world cup. The only TV3 I've been watching is the post match analysis because it goes on for an hour or so after the ITV coverage ends.

I watched one match on TV3 as I was holed up in a hotel - truly awful. Very happy with ITV this weekend so will be sticking with it. I agree that JW is a great analyst.
