    Hello.

When you close your eyes and think happy thoughts do you imagine seeing Rugbians George Hook, Tom McGurk and Brent Pope interviewed together?

Do you dare to dream of seeing ex Westlifer Brian McFadden interviewed on the same show?

Would nothing make that sweeter than the presence of actress Toni Colette from The Sixth Sense and United States of Tara?

Is the prospect of watching Chef Rick Stein plug his new book the only thing that helps you put up with all those little things that life sends your way?

Could the warmest sunset only glow brighter with reminisces from artist Pauline Bewick and music from Irish Singer Songwriter Daniel Anderson?

Well, you just hit the jackpot baby!

Everyone else, you should be happy for that one person whose life has been enriched by this lineup.

If you wish hard enough, next week it could be you!

I wonder if Brian will comment on whether he is going to ask Vogue for her rings back: http://www.herald.ie/news/brian-hasnt-asked-for-my-rings-back-reveals-vogue-williams-31512059.html

    Ha, great OP Skid!

Was gonna do it earlier, but I couldn't get past McFadden without it turning into an angry bitchfest (cos he's a tool, you see).

Seriously, I tried a few times.

Still the rugby lads will be good. Looking forward to hearing Popey talking up moving to Radio Nova. To be honest, I probably will switch over to it. Great fella, Popey.

    Ahoy hoy!!!!

Not a bad oul line up, i mean there has definitely been worse. Pity McFadden is on though. He's an absolute muttonhead.

    Great intro, Skiddy :D
Hooky, McGurk, and the Pope should be fine. The rest, with the exception of Pauline Bewick and Brian McSh*thead, I've never heard of. And where the hell is the misery segment? The night won't be the same without it

Well done on the opening Skid_X ;)

Hello all- I'm back from town- (the big one)- Merrion Square was looking splendiferous for the culture night thingy- hope you got to experience some of it.

About that heat poll? Not a chance mate- the gas bill was under 50 euro covering the last couple of months- the lowest ever- to keep those kind of bills going, I think i'll take up knitting for the winter to keep warm :P

I'd imagine he won't put the rugby pundits on while the England/Fiji game is still on but you never know.

Unlikely he'll even be aware it's still on at the start of the programme :D

He did pull them off the rugby, lol. They would have pulled in so much more if they brought them on 2nd guests after the rugby, RTÉ scheduling is idiotic.

Ah, I missed the bit about Rape Culture.

The Weekend hasn't begun until you can get down to a heavy topic like that.

I'll go out on a limb and predict this won't be as good as when Brendan O'Connor interviewed the Rugby Amigos.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74,296 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Haven't seen a suit like that since Jason King in the 70's :D

It's probably a special order from Michael Guineys, back of the office special order stock.

My Twitter account got suspended when I sent George Hook a link to a dodgy stream so he could watch a Heineken Cup game when he was in Hospital.
