Irish radioplayer app keeps turningoff off

I recently installed the Irish radioplayer app on my galaxy s6.

Seems like a great app, very user friendly and all that - but it constantly turns itself off after about 10 minutes.

I've checked all the settings I can find.

Is there something obvious I'm missing? I have excellent data coverage, if that makes any difference.

Its a bug with android. I've gone back to Tune in for Irish radio.

    Cheers for that.

I rarely use radio apps, thought that one was the rolls royce of apps from the advertisiing!

    Will give tunein a try.

Tunein is a fantastic app, if you love radio its the best app you will ever download.

What it does for me is force close the first time I open it every morning but once I open it again it stays open and I'm on an S6 Edge +.
It's a far nicer looking app than tunein and I purchased the paid version of tunein but the main reason I stick with the Irish radio player is because for the same hour long journey to work listening on my bluetooth headphones tunein would use 16% battery whereas radio player only uses 5%.
