Installed solar tubes,low pressure in the system

    Hi,

    Due to the solar tubes recently installed, the pressure in the system is unbearable and untouchable...
    I guess that the location of the system is affecting the gravity effect on the water / cylinder / taps.

    Ask around and I've been given few options:
    -immersion pump in the tank
    -booster pump
    -direct feed in the mains

    Not sure which one is the best, any one in the same position and how did you resolve it please !?

    Very low pressure...drops coming at shower head and very slow at the kitchen tap.

    Your solar system is completely independent of your house water supply system. It is a sealed system so has absolutely no effect on your pressure at the taps.

    I could be wrong but before, my main water flow was trough the combi boiler then to taps / shower. No issues with pressure, not the best but workable.

    Now, the solar system heats the main water than goes / sits in the 300l cylinder and from there, once needed at the shower or tap, due to gravity effect, is running at the appropriate temperature.

    Since the cylinder / solar system installed ,I have issues with the pressure.

    we had the similar problem when i changed my cylinder to new model insulated one, our pressure was reduced so using now shower pump to power two showers.

    Thanks...my plumber advised me to purchase one of these from here, as my all house' system will be pressurised.
    I'll ring the supplier in the morning and confirm it...
