My new favourite rock station The Rock. Please please please keep this station alive. Its everything Nova and Phantom aren't. True honest good rock music. Playing all songs from the big rock bands in the 60s 70s and 80s. I love every song they play. The Rock ROCKS !!

    Spread the word !!

    Cheers

?? You think I am a shill? lol

I moved to Navan two weeks ago and I have a portable radio, trying to find a radio station I came across a good song and left it there. Turns out it was The Rock. I googled today what it was all about and found out its a temporary radio station, ending on 30 September.

As I think its miles better than any radio out there I think it deserves more air time.

But hey, if you dont like it, dont give them any positive feedback. Just keep sucking on that lemon.

    Cheers

I would listen to Nova a lot more if they got rid of that Pat Courtney twat

Anyone remember the 90's network that was around for a short while in early 2011?

Nova is all right, but too polished, popular rock, for me.

Given that that article says the rock is essentially run by nova, I can't see it being very different in terms of what it plays.

It is essentially Nova without the commercial realities. Same backers and management team.

Fair enough, but the music is fantastic, Nova or not, seems to be a different playlist, it wouldnt make sense to erect a Nova v2

Nova is okay but it could do with a show dedicated to metal and punk.
