Cracking cast for a "TV movie" with Daniel Radcliffe as the co-creator of GTA and Bill Paxton as an American lawyer gunning (no pun intended!) to ban the violent game.

Daniel Radcliffe stars in this factual drama as Sam Houser, British co-founder of Rockstar Games, who with brother Dan turned gaming upside down and caused moral panic by leading the team driving the Grand Theft Auto franchise. An unauthorised take on the phenomenal success of the game series – the latest instalment earned $1bn in three days – it also looks at how Houser butted heads with Christian lawyer Jack Thompson (played by Bill Paxton), who was determined to have the ultra-violent game banned.

A show about nothing much really. Good camerawork turning the cast into computer game characters at certain points. And watching Harry Potter jack a pensioners car at the end was a highlight.
Apparently Rockstar are now suing the BBC over something or other. Lawyers really do win in the end.

^ yup, those tweets suggest that 90 minutes should have been wasted on game engine theory and officewear issues.
It was a minor legal battle over some rushed deadline that meant the code wasn't scrubbed properly.
And as implied at the end, if Don Simpson is your hero, get better heroes.

Now a movie about the Don, that would be worth a watch and an Adults Only rating.
