What kind of speeds are you getting through the vpn?

I see that there's a free basic account which limits speed to 300kps

I'm also wary of how long the lifetime membership is for.

I'm currently using private Internet access and am very happy with the service

So it would need to be pretty good to make me switch

I have and use unblock-us and am happy with it but this is a good backup. My internet is full speed with no slowdown using pro or unblock (in saying that I am in the middle of no where with only 12mb down so your mileage may very.

It wont change your life that's true but having good back up for the money doesn't hurt.

Reviews don't seem to paint them in an overly positive light.

Android app doesn't seem to work on Lollipop based on Google Play reviews. Speed tests in reviews make them look distinctly average. Customer service seems to be decent, which is a plus.

Considering this 'Lifetime' subscription is cheaper than their 6 month plan it might be a decent gamble all the same.
