    Was wondering what people thought?

My top three in no particular order would be:
    Danny Sutcliffe
    TJ Reid
    Colin Fennelly

Not saying he isthe best hurler but imo Lee Chin is up there and above the vast majority in terms of pure athleticism.

Cian Lynch must be up there with the most athletic, showed some amazing bursts in the weekends U21 final

Kevin moran springs to mind but talking to a few kk lads on the inside cillian buckley and conor fogarty are unreal

Moe Shanahan would get my vote.
    Lean and mean.

Lee Chin is up there alright. That picture where he was celebrating after the Clare win in 2014 he looked 100% ripped. Cian Lynch is probably too underdeveloped but has the potential. Kevin Moran is a serious workhorse and very fit but I'm not sure he'd be able for every Olympic sport unlike some of these others.

Another player who is highly athletic is Dublin's Mark Schutte, himself & Cillian Buckley seem to be able to hang in the air forever when waiting to catch a ball, like Ronaldo when he goes up for a header.

I think Colin Fennelly must be one of the fittest though, he covers the full length of the field for fun to chase down an opposition forward.

I hear Conor Fogarty is the fittest in the Kilkenny camp and scored very highly on the beep test.

I presume that would make him one of the most athletic in hurling.

    Yes

Regarding Fogarty, his success in the beep test might just mean he is fit. Whether he is an all round athlete is a bit different. I've never seen him jump into the clouds for a high ball like Richie Hogan for example, Richie can box jump 2/3 his own height apparently. Also, how flexible is fogarty, what is his reach like?

I would say the same about Moe Shanahan since someone mentioned him, very fit, lean, muscular & flexible (he has a surprisingly quick turn) but have yet to see the full range of athletic ability.

Yeah Fogarty is fit but from a KK point of view, it has to be Cillian Buckley-pure athlete. Richie Hogan is another superb athlete for his size and is a great fielder of the ball as somebody mentioned. I think when Michael Fennelly was injury free in 09,10 and 11, he was the most athletic of all hurlers I've seen and literally ran from 21 to 21( I hate the phrase box to box!). Others who spring to mind are Tony Kelly and Colm Galvin, even Seadna Morey from Clare, Kevin Moran, Gleeson and de Burca from Waterford, David Burke and Jason Flynn from Galway and Lee Chin, Danny Sutcliffe would definitely be right up there

I'd rate Tony Kelly up there anyway... Not the best, but certainly up there

Richie Hogan box jumping 2/3's his height isn't really that impressive considering it would be a jump of about 2foot!!!

I know he is retired but hands down it was Tony Browne when he was playing.
