Starting out as self employed

    This is my situation:

    *) I've lost my (PAYE) job in Q2 2015
*) Been claiming JSB since then
*) I've wanted to get off JSB and have an option as a freelance translator that will allow me to do so

    *) I've never been self-employed, always a PAYE worker
*) I might leave the country by the end of the year

I know already that I have to fill out form TR1 to register and then fill out the self-assessment form using ROS next month.

    What's unclear to me:
*) Do I have to put in numbers from my PAYE and JSB time in the form or self-assessment? I assume no to both, just want to make sure.
*) If and when I decide to leave the country, do I just ring Revenue, tell them that I'll leave and they send me a bill on taxes/PRSI/USC owed after Oct, 31?

Your 2015 return isn't due until October 2016. All income for 2015 must be included.

So if I leave by EOY 2015, I'll have to pay my 2015 freelance taxes in Germany? I'm confused now.
