    Hi

Not from Cork so unfamiliar with rush hour traffic.

I've to be in Cork (Silversprings Hotel) for 8.30am on Tuesday coming from M7 motorway.

How much time should I allow to get through the Dunkettle interchange and along the docks to the hotel....?

After 8:00 allow 20 min or more. Traffic can be very heavy.

It varies but it can be pretty slow.

    The M8, you mean?

More than 20 mins sounds about right.

It'd be the N8 "Lower Glanmire Road" at that stage.

The big issue is that you'll have to go over an overpass to get to Silversprings. It tends to queue up for quite a while.

There aren't really any decent alternative routes. It's the main artery from the east into the city.

And queue for dunkettle, at least 30 mins I reckon to be safe.
