DCU Student ID discounts

The site mentions that the card can get you discounts but it doesn't mention where, anybody have any idea? Also does the card have a photo on it? Or is it just text?

You will have your photo taken for your DCU student ID during orientation this week.
Regarding discounts, most clothes shops like Topshop, Burtons, Zara etc. will offer you a discount if you present your ID. Nothing huge, usually around 10-15% off but it is nice to get some sort of discount.

You can use it in any shop that offers a student discount or student deals e.g. cinema, travel tickets, hairdressers etc.
