We're thinking of going to one of the above for four nights in the coming weeks but we're completely undecided.

Krakow: more expensive to get to flights wise but cheaper to eat/drink in. The main reason would be Auschwitz and the Salt Mines, but of which we'd love to experience.

Berlin: Cheaper to get to than Krakow. Obvious historical sites and from friends, I've heard it's an excellent city to go out in also.

Amsterdam: Pretty much on a par with Berlin price wise and we'd both just love to go for the experience of the city as a whole and the Anne Frank museum etc.

So boardsies, what do ye think?

    100% Berlin.

Berlin is way cheaper than Amsterdam. It has unparalleled history and is the wildest place in Europe in terms of culture.
I'm not far from Amsterdam and it's ok but I largely avoid it.

101% Krakow. Absolutely stunning city. Was there in July packed with tourists. Salt Mines were great.

I've not been to Krakow but I know the other two cities well. I would probably give Berlin the nod by a narrow margin for the combination of history, culture and nightlife. Amsterdam is great too but it has got a bit seedy in recent years, with junkies begging etc. It is still a lovely place apart from that - really laid back and the museums and galleries are well worth a visit.

    Been to all three.

    Krakow
    Berlin
    Amsterdam

    in that order.

For a first and possibly only visit I would go to Krakow - four days is a nice length break to experience most of what it has to offer. For most people, it's pretty much guaranteed Berlin and Amsterdam are places they go a number of times.

Krakow would be my own favourite though I've been there about ten times. Berlin is like London - always so much more to see and do. Of the three I'd rank Amsterdam lowest though it's a close one between Krakow and Berlin.

Krakow by far the cheapest once there. Aer Lingus often cheaper than Ryanair to Berlin.

Really depends on what you like and what cities you've really enjoyed in the past.
    For me, it'd be Berlin.
4 days there would be great.
Just so much to do, see and take in.
