Scrapping Car

Just a quick question. I have a car which has been sitting in the drive way for over six months, it's basically a pile of junk at this stage and I intend to scrap it (legally) imhaventbbtaxed it for said time....do I have to pay any back tax when it's scrapped?

What is the best company to have your car scrapped legally? And what ones should I avoid?

Contact one of the Authorised Treatment Facilities licensed to dispose and certify cars as scrapped, or sell it on to someone else making sure you register the change of ownership so that it doesn't stay in your name.
