Eircom Basic package.

    Hi,

    My mother who is in her eighties, is looking to change her package.
    What she wants is a line rental and pay for calls used.
    Her current package bill last month was  € 71.75, calls used  € 3.66.!!
    She has no use for broadband and/or mobile services and/or packages.

    I have tried ringing Eircom but just seem to go round in circles, 

    Is there anything available for her ?  or should she just cancel her account altogether and get a mobile ?

    Just get a cheap mobile.

    Eircom reps do not have the ability to delete comments, however I have deleted some of your posts as have been spamming the same link across multiple threads. You have also received a warning for this on another thread. Discussion of moderation on thread is also against site rules.

    Probably best with a mobile to be honest. The likes of Vodafone red plans are great offers if all she wants is calls wouldn't bother with landline with line rental etc if you weren't bothered with broadband
