I'm designing the layout of my kitchen and I need to know what the max distance I can have my cooker from the gas bottle please. I will have a reg installer do the work but at the moment I'm just trying to see the best layout.

It can go any distance once the pipe size is correct. Most important is the location of the bottles in relation to windows, drains, gullys etc. all this can be shown to you by your installer

That's good to know thanks! its a tiny kitchen and I'm trying to fit as much storage and counter tops as I can, so the most obvious place for the cooker isn't the most efficient.

Oh yeah that's what I'm doing, I just don't want to have to put the cooker on the outside wall in order to run the pipe through to the outside.
