Hi guys. I am trying to figure out what will be the best style of high heels for my wedding. I am short (5'2") with wide feet.

So far my collection includes only round toes, peep toes and pumps or runners. I know that for short person I shouldn't wear ankle straps, but are any kind of straps ok???

I plan to dance all night. I want to make sure my shoes don't fall off so I do want straps... but is it a fashionable possibility being short??? P.s I HATE pointed toes.

First off, if you're only wearing heels because you think you should, think again - my sister in law got married in a pair of ballet pumps and nobody even noticed!
Secondly, there's no rule that says short people can't wear ankle straps. I suppose if you have chubby ankles an ankle strap might draw attention to them/be uncomfortable. Maybe try on a few pairs and see how they look and feel.
Last bit, don't spend a fortune on a pair you'll only wear once - you'll probably kick them off once the dancing starts anyway!

Of your dress is long people probably won't see your feet. So get a pair that is comfortable . I personally find platform heels most comfortable. Maybe try m & s, they do wide foot and 'foot glove' range which is very comfortable .

Thanks guys for the advice. The main reason for the heels would be my height. I have an 11 yr old sister and even she is taller.

But I do love my heels. Only small to medium height but dam they make me feel good. Shoe shopping is the only shopping I enjoy!!!! And they will defo be worn again and again.

I didn't actually think of the length of the dress. You're right.... they probably won't be seen. Ha. Thanks again
