One-off pension payment allowed?

Hi, I'm in receipt of long-term disability allowance, and have just discovered that I have a small lump-sum pension payment due to me from the UK.
(This was a pension scheme I was in around the '80s...I'd forgotten all about it.)
Will this one-off payment cause a problem with my weekly DA payment?
i.e: Will the lump-sum be off-set against my weekly payment, and if so, how?
Thanks in advance for advice and comments.

If it's less than 50000 then it won't affect your DA but as soon as you get it let them know anyway

Thanks (once again!) for answering my query...this isn't the first time you've taken the time to advise me, and it's much appreciated.
