Live-in carer

I am seeking advice on how to go about hiring a 24 hour live-in carer, with or without the assistance of agencies.

I am currently the full-time carer for my Mother and I don't feel I can cope with her worsening condition (Alzheimer's) as I am not a qualified carer in the first place and I also wish to return to the career I had before taking this on.

I am aware that it will probably not be such a straightforward process due to issues with timeframe, cost, adaptability etc but if anyone has had any previous experience with this, I would be grateful to hear from you and your opinion on this.

Hi just wondering did you get sorted with a live in carer? Was thinking of it myself for my uncle wondering what the cost is ?
