    Hi,

We're thinking about holding a temporary market/event on the grounds of our property but wondering what the rules around planning are like in this area?
Basically do we need to apply for permission or not? (it is already a commercial property with planning as a retail unit)
Obviously if we were to open to traders we would insist on them having insurance etc it's just the planning we are wondering about!
    Thanks

Sorry, trying to get my head round what you want........

You have a retail premises but you want to use the grounds around the premises to host an event for smallholders. Is that right?

I would say contact your local council's planning office then maybe their events office.
