    Hi
Can anyone recommend someone to put in a good attic ladder, a stira or something similar? I could google obviously, but I would prefer a recommendation.

    Thanks

I went for the original and they fitted it. Works great.

I could regret it but it seems you can get the same for half price, although it's not stira

Yep, you can always get cheaper items, but I know it's solid and reliable and a quality finish and fitting. I don't mind spending a little more when you get a quality item.

I got a guy from theatticstairs.ie. Good stairs and fitted quickly and neatly. Just don't believe the no mess, he leaves a lot of dust! Stira are very expensive

Syria is the best, I always recommend them if possible but when we bought our place in Finglas in 2006, we got a local guy to install an aluminium ladder. It was about €150 at the time.

It is still perfect to this day. He wrote his name and number on the inside of the attic hatch, if you want it, I can get it for you. Just depends if you want cheap, cheerful and functionable or the almighty stira.
