Cross Boarder Tax Uk / Ireland

I was wondering if you could give me a quote or some advice on if you can help me. I am currently working (and have been for the past 3 years) for a British company and paying UK PAYE and National Insurance. I currently live in Ireland however I work offshore (Construction ships) and essentially I commute to work.

I believe I need to complete a self assessment in Ireland possibly for 2013 / 2014 / 2015. I did not realise I needed to do this until recently. What is my best
way to do this and will I get late fines etc from the Irish revenue? I assumed as I was paying tax somewhere (I have UK P60s on file form these years ) it would all look after itself such as is when you are an employee in a company. They do not teach you this stuff in school

    Any advice would be grateful
