    Hi all,
Just found out about a dinner dance being organised for a 50th anniversary and am at a loss of what to wear!
Would I be expected to go with a full length gown or would knee length be ok?
Im not even really sure what Im looking for, I dont really like fitted, bodycon type dresses but dont really know if my "skater dress" style would be appropriate..
Oh and I assume heels would be the norm? I dont mean to be sounding daft either but would most have their hair done in upstyles or does anything go?
If anyone could throw some ideas at me Id be so grateful. Im 20, 5ft 7 and around a size 12

    Thanks so much!

A 50th wedding anniversary? Surely it wouldn't be so formal. Maybe ask one of the family organising it if its black tie or something. Cant imagine it could be.

So assuming its like any other wedding anniversary party i have ever been to I wouldn't be going too all out. You could end up way too overdressed. One of your nice skater dresses would be perfect imo. I would probably have my hair done but I wouldnt say it would be very necessary. Oh and heels is always the norm! I don't need much of an excuse for wearing my heels!!

Here is a skater dress I got about 3 months ago for a similar function. Its reduced and in your size now

I wore these shoes in white with it. Cant find them still in stock in white sorry
