Toilet cistern not fully emptying

    Hi all
    My toilet cistern is only half emptying when i flush it.im sure i can fix it myself if someone could give me a bit of guidance,any ideas???

    I had a similar problem years ago - there is a plastic sheet within the siphon tube that can get torn over time. It's called the Diaphram. I replaced the sheet with a piece of builders plastic and it worked for a another few years. It's not the right part for the job but it'll get you out of trouble (if this indeed is the problem).

    In the end when it failed a 2nd time I replaced the whole siphon as it was nearly the same amount of work.
