On a motorbike 155.mph Honda blackbird.
All done on a completely empty motorway wit no passengers.
Both in uk.
I was passenger on a Hyabusa doing 180 mph and nearly had panic attack.
All done bout 10 years or more ago.

In 1992 I had a standard 1.3 corolla and got to 120 mph On speedo on a dual carriageway but it was a bit downhill.
I believe u achieved that speed but speeds could be plus or minus 5 or so mph.
It may be accurate or it may have been 130 or 140.

155mph BMW 535d. Car was so stable and acceleration was constant and relentless all the way to its top speed.
Think it probably could do more but eased off the accelerator.

Closest I came since was in a C63 AMG when it limited out at 155mph, again in Germany.

I drove a Delorean recently and it started getting weird when it got near 88mph, the yoke must've been leaking petrol cause it left a trail of flames behind me....

Hit the limiter in an M3, so that is 155MPH, speedo said a lot more though. Got a bit carried away with another biker when I was on the motorbike, wasn't looking at the speedo, but it got so fast that a straight road seemed bendy.

Good thing there is so many private roads around :pac:

I know alot of people seem to complain about using MPH instead of KPH, but some of ye are using the 2 different measurements in the same sentence, why?

I drove at 145mph but I was a passenger in a car that was doing 220kph??

The highest I drove was 230km/h in a 2002 1.8l petrol Ford Mondeo on the M3 towards Westmeath, with not a single car in sight.

Did it once and never again. Heard pretty soon afterwards that anything clocked over 100 is a court appearance, even if it's an old wives tail, it ain't worth risking.

Same as that in my mother's fiesta 2 years ago between ennis and gort , pushed it as hard as it would go but I ran out of road , I'd have got it to 105 mph if I had another 5 miles
