Plenty of footage on YT, especially the 4hr segment of EP VII merchandise tie ins which launched Friday...

    BB-8 looks standout...

Thanks but not in stock I'm afraid. Checked a few in person and rang some others. They said they should be coming in stock around now while on the website it says the start of October so I don't know? Argos are getting them mid October according to their CS. I've checked loads of other places too. Serious shortage of them it seems.

Just a heads up for anyone interested. Smyths nationwide seem to be restocking the 6" figures now. Picked up Kylo Ren today. Great looking figure.

€32 for the black series figures in smyths the other day, getting a bit much, thought they were reasonable enough at €25 but they're extracting the urine on account they know people are going to buy. Argos were advertising 3for2 on all their toys but they had feck all star wars stuff in stock apart from the €150-€170 figures.

Good price, think they were €170 on littlewoods, out of stock in the Disney store last time I was there, some people had them up on adverts for €250.

6" Black Series 2 Pack: Riot Control Trooper and Poe Dameron is now available in Argos at reduced price of 43.99. Going to skip this one for now I think.

Looking for a Captain Phasma at the minute.

I picked up an elite series Phasma in the Disney store, looks pretty good, €25 compared to the new black series stuff which is €30 at least. There's a deadly general grevious in the elite series as well.

Yeah, cheers, I've seen that and was tempted but I've been in since original wave 1 of black series released a few years ago so I'll keep going for now. :D
Hoping Force awakens wave 2 starts hitting stores properly soon.

I don't think the new black series stuff looks as good as the previously released stuff, don't know what it is but I'm not a big fan.

Another nice set in Disney was the one with a load of figures from the original trilogy, think it was about fifty quid, it's on the wishlist!

You're right, they don't compare to the first waves, X-wing Luke, Maul, Stormtrooper for example but happy to continue in the mean time. As soon as we get another couple of OT key characters or variations of already released characters after the Force Awakens waves, I'll be happy to declare myself out, i.e. A new hope Luke (announced), C3-PO, a Royal Guard would be amazing too!

MF now 149.99 in Argos. Thinking of making the jump to light speed for my young fella for Christmas. Don't think it'll get any cheaper in 2015.

Grabbed the force awakened one for him as there was another one for around 79.99 but no parts move or open on it - almost cocked it up , phew . Did get the FA MF for 129.99 on amazon today.

The AT AT remote jobbie looks gay as hell so i found the larger version for around 160 - he wont ship to me only 2 left lol.(ITs too big for parcel motel)

Where did you see the MF for that on Amazon? Cheapest I saw was for £102.

I was thinking of buying the non-functioning MF and converting it myself to work with figures. My 5 year old would appreciate it I know but not sure I could live with it. :pac:

I would not opt for the modifying the cheap one as it's just two pieces of vacum formed plastic with nothing in the center and the landing struts are permanently deployed. Not saying you couldn't do it just it's too messy with thin plastic like that .

There was three at that price from a UK seller all gone now .

Just asking for a favour. If anyone sees any of wave 2 of the black series figures (in particular Phasma) in Smyths or anywhere else would you let me know here? Places like this are a bit of a journey for me. Really appreciate it.

It's since been relocated to the attic so it's not liberated by a light fingered passer by who finds my car unlocked. ;)

Black Series wave 2 is hitting Smyths now. Managed to get Phasma after much hunting and heartache. :)
