Locked out of Facebook

    A while ago a news story popped up on my news feed that I thought a friend would like. I messaged her with a link. I was immediately locked out of Facebook. I can only assume the link was on a spam website.

    Now Facebook want photo ID. I've sent them my passport photo. The problem is I use the name I was christened with on Facebook. That name doesn't appear on any ID I have, although it is my name. My birth cert says one name but when I was being christened my parents decided at the very last moment to call me after my grandfather. Like I said, this name appears nowhere on any ID I have. I have absolutely zero proof that this is my name. If I could somehow get in touch with an actual human that represents Facebook I might be able to send them a picture of myself or explain the situation but that doesn't look likely.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    New account, using your real name.

    If you think the name that you were christened with is your real name, then get your IDs changed to reflect that.
