I live in the country and my house is on a local water scheme. I have never had great pressure in my outside tap and struggle to get a power washer to work. Is their anything I can do to improve it and what might be the problem, don't hear neighbours having the same problems. Thanks

Your power washer isn't getting enough volume of water. You need an intermediate water supply for it. Try using a 200L barrel or maybe something smaller to sort it out.
If you have more pressure in your kitchen cold tap than your outside tap, then there is a supply problem to your outside tap.
