Anyone still waiting on BTEA decision?

    Handed in the forms a few weeks ago but still did not hear anything back about the BTEA. Went into the local SW office today to enquire and was informed that the main office has not even requested forms from the local offices yet.
    The main problem I have is that registration for the course is tomorrow and the course itself starts on Monday. As I am not certain whether I will get the allowance I am a bit concerned about paying the first part of the registration fee tomorrow (€1500). According to the college, this fee must be paid tomorrow if I want to start the course.
    This is a lot of money to take a hit on if I do not get the BTEA.
    Also, I am wondering if I start the course on Monday without the BTEA, will my existing SW payment be stopped?
    Anyone else in the same position?
