I have a 1.8 125 bhp, and I don't find it any ways underpowered. There is a dead however whenever you put the shoe down in higher gears.

The timing belt is a quite an expensive job, costing around 700ish, depending on where you go. At 105k miles on that one, I'd want the dealer to get it done, before you buy!

Edit: Nevermind, says it's done.
