Venues for under 60 people

    Hi all.

Looking for venues for a small wedding. Newly engaged so apologies if this has been done a million times. We're in Wicklow, but will look at anywhere in Leinster. I don't want a big hotel with an empty room, but don't Want anymore than 50/60 at a push.

So far, Beaufield Mews (no accommodation and early close worries me) and The Village at Lyons are standing out to me.

Where am I missing? My budget on venue will be 5000, Fri wedding in July/August. I think that gives me good scope for food/wine for everyone.

Rest of the wedding will be minimum costs, no cars, no bridesmaids/groomsmen. No band (DJ and a singer earlier in the day).

Help. This is so daunting! Although, I am enjoying it :D

Roundwood house goes up to 50 people I think and they'd be ideal. you could look at a restaurant like the winding stairs or the woolen mills.

Oh congrats to you and ye... Have you maybe tried houses or places like that to rent... Might be what would suit ye.. Sorry I cant say I know any in Leinster but if you google I am sure you will find some..

wines too if it is worth it to you.. Just after our own and we were like hawks watching the wine deals. Supervalue really are the best if you get the deals and if you ask them they will let you know when they are coming up

Have you tried the woodenbridge hotel in avoca?
I'm having a wedding with 40 ish people and the prices are great, the packages are really generous and they are very friendly and relaxed.
Different options for different wedding sizes too.

Have you enquired with Tinakilly Country House in Rathnew? I am sure they could accommodate your numbers and do a lovely wedding for ye.

My friend had her wedding in Kilashee House Hotel in Kildare a few years back. I think she had 60 guests. I'm not sure if that's their minimum number but you could phone and check. It's a stunning location. One other thing to check is if they do more than one wedding per day which you mightn't be happy about! My friends wedding was in the smaller function room which was beautiful. They have a larger function room too so just check that out if you're worried about bumping into another bride on your big day!!

Thanks everyone. Have a few viewings organised for next weekend. I've lost count of how many places I have emailed. Going to see Beaufield Mews Sat, village at lyons and celbridge manor on sun. A lot of places haven't came back to me, like the woodenbridge/the morrisson. Going to organise a trip to station house. Tinakilly is beside my house so would prefer to venture further, it is beautiful though, love sitting out with food down there.
