I have just bought a replacement carbon pro-lite liguria fork. The old fork had a recess to take the brake pivot nut which screwed into the caliper bolt. the original nut was too short as the new fork does not have a recess. Just an approx 5 mm hole all the way. I just got a 33 mm nut but this to is too short. Just checking here if this is normall and perhaps my discounted new fork is just older techno? Or have I bought a junker? Or both :-) I am thinking I will need a 45 mm bolt top do the job.

This happens quite frequently your lbs should have the longer nut. If not PM me and I will post one to you.
