I'm looking for an app that I can install on two devices that we can use to track our spending.

I would like to track all outgoings and also add our scheduled bills and direct debits that withdraw from our accounts, I don't particularly need a link to our online banking in the app, and something that would offer a breakdown by category and that could be synced with pc or perhaps exported into excel would be ideal.

    Any suggestions?

I'm using Hello Expense which is great. Once you have used it for a few weeks it saves the descriptions you input and means you can enter new expenses very quickly.

You can break down by date, category, add tags or search. It can also export to a CSV file. The only issue you may have is syncing between two devices. I would love if there was a cloud bases update for this where it saves whenever I install it on a new device, and syncs with others etc. At the moment I have to share between devices over Bluetooth which is not ideal

Thanks, to lack of multi device might be a deal breaker but it's a good start.

The only other thing I use is the tablet version of the banking app (not an Irish bank). This automatically works out my credit card and debit card payments / transfers and categorises them into rent, groceries, travel, subscriptions etc. It is a useful overview but nowhere near as accurate as it doesn't account for any cash payments

I use YNAB. Great app. Suppports IOS & Android apps and desktop client that syncs all via dropbox or over WiFi.
